KINLICHEE – 2003

Dennis Gulledge

Kinlichee is on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. Last year, at the invitation of the congregation that meets on this reservation, the Mabelvale church responded with eighteen workers to conduct their Vacation Bible School. The church at Kinlichee has a located preacher, Bill Marsh, along with his wife Laura and their two sons, David and Nathan. The small church there consists of twelve to fifteen members. Attendance at their VBS last year was about 60. It was the general consensus that much good was accomplished on this campaign last year. We are going again this year. The group will depart in two vans from the church building on August 1st and return August 8th. The trip will involve two days driving out there and two days driving back home. Below is a list of the people involved and the classes that will be taught:

I AM BOUND FOR THE PROMISED LAND
It has been truthfully said, “The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed.” There are people and occurrences in the Old Testament that foreshadow people and occurrences of a higher meaning in the New Testament. They are called “types.” This is a study of Old Testament types and New Testament antitypes.
