It is a terrible tribute to this nation that this
subject should even need to be addressed, but it must be. There is
so much confusion, and for all practical purposes ignorance, on the subject
of whether or not there is a God. We are taught in our schools that
God does not exist. We are taught by our government that God does
not exist. We are taught by the media that God does not exist.
We are taught that there is no God, and that if any god exists it is man
himself. How foolish of men to be able to look at themselves, and
to look at the world in which we live, and to make such a claim.
The Psalmist boldly proclaimed in Psalm 139:14,
"I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous
are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." When we look
at the physical body, and see its complexities, how can we but consider
that there is a God, and that we are His product. Consider also the
complexities of the world around us. Paul did, and in the letter
to the Hebrews he wrote, "Through faith we understand that the worlds were
framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made
of things which do appear." (11:3). Christ Himself said, "I
am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which
is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." (Revelation
1:8). Take time to reflect on these ideas and Scriptures, but don't
keep them to yourself, share them with your friends, and tell them that
there is a God, and that He lives.
