Where can I learn more about the church of Christ?

You do not have to go to the library and search through religious periodicals to find more information of the church of Christ.  You do not have to go to a seminary for several years to learn its doctrine.  You do not need to seek through countless religious books to see why we worship the way we do.  You need not look through handbooks to see what changes have been made to the church over the last few centuries.  You need only look in one source to learn more about the church of Christ:  the New Testament!
Everything that the church of Christ does is to be found in the pages of the New Testament.  It is our only guide and the church of Christ strives to be as it is:  Unchanging.  Notice a few of the areas in which the church of Christ is in harmony with New Testament teaching (there are no areas where harmony is not found):
-There is no universal headquarters (each congregation being governed independently), and only one Head:  Christ (Ephesians 5:23).
-Congregations which are able are overseen by elders and served by deacons (Philippians 1:1; I Timothy 3).
-The church of Christ meets on the first day of the week (I Corinthians 16:2).
-The worship of the church of Christ has not changed (Acts 2:42;20:7;  I Corinthians 14:15; 16:2).
-The church of Christ is undenominational using just the doctrine that was taught in the New Testament (Acts 2:42; Galatians 1:6-9; Revelation 22:18,19).
-The terms of entry into the church of Christ have not changed since New Testament times (Acts 2:37,38; 8:26-40; Romans 6).
One minister accurately stated, "A thing is composed of the sum of its parts.  Accordingly, it can be seen that the church of Christ is not one among the many; but, rather, it is the one, true New Testament church."
