William Jennings Bryan, the great politician, and prosecutor in the Scopes “Monkey” Trial had a standing offer of “$100 in cash to anyone who signed an affidavit declaring that he personally was descended from an ape.”  To my knowledge the $100 was never claimed.  Today, men have gone so far that they would pay $100 for to admit it, further they would be tripping over each other for the opportunity.  Is that evolution?-DFC
